Nuad Thai
Traditional Thai massage
Clothed, without oil. Pressure, stretching, movement — this is what they have been doing in Thailand for a thousand years.

What happens
Not kneading — moving
Traditional Thai massage does not knead the muscle, it moves the body. I work along the sen lines with my palms, thumbs and elbows, and meanwhile I move you into stretched, yoga-like positions — but I do the work, you only have to let go.
This releases stiffness even where an ordinary massage struggles to reach: in the hip, under the shoulder blades, in the hamstrings. Many people say afterwards that they feel taller.
There is no oil, so your skin will not be greasy and you can go straight back to work.
What should you wear?
You do not need to bring anything. I give you comfortable Thai clothes to change into — loose cut, good for stretching.
How a treatment goes
- 1 You change into the Thai clothes
- 2 We talk about where you feel tight
- 3 We start at the feet and work up through the body to the head
- 4 Stretches, a calm finish, and a glass of water
Choose this if…
You are stiff, not in pain
No specific complaint, everything just feels seized up. This is the most common reason people come.
You sit a lot
Hip, hamstrings, lower back — desk work shortens exactly these.
You do not like oil
You stay clothed throughout, nothing is rubbed in, no shower needed afterwards.
It is your first time
If you cannot decide which to ask for, start with this — we will talk it through anyway.
If you have a specific, long-standing complaint — lower back, sciatica, numb hands — I would rather recommend the Solution Thai treatment. And if you are coming to unwind, the aroma oil massage is the better choice.
Frequently asked questions
- Will it hurt?
-
In places it is strong. Tell me if it is too much and I will ease off.
- 60 or 90 minutes?
-
Sixty minutes is a good full treatment. Ninety leaves room to stay longer on one or two areas.
- Should I eat beforehand?
-
Do not come on a full stomach — the stretches would be uncomfortable. One or two hours after a larger meal is ideal.
- What happens afterwards?
-
Drink plenty of water. The next day you may feel something like mild muscle soreness — that is normal.
- How often?
-
Once a month is a good rhythm. Some people have been coming that way for three years.
- When should you not come?
-
With a fever, a fresh injury, inflammation or thrombosis. During pregnancy, let us talk it through first.
